The world seems to be being held hostage by the megalomanianic premise that he who hath the biggest capability

The world seems to be being held hostage by the megalomanianic premise that he who hath the biggest capability to destroy the entire planet and all human kind, rules the world. This pre-supposes that the goal of any or all definable nation states is to in fact rule the world. This supposition can be borne out by historical acts of war and colonization since the beginning of recorded history. But with the advent of the increased human population and the need to supply the basic needs of humanity with some standard of fair opportunity and access, imperialistic proclivities have all but become a secondary concern. This is true even for those who already rule the world and those that exercise the most influence. Imperialistic power is dissipating, becoming unsustainable due the sheer number of people on the planet and their projected increase. With each individual striving for his own level of "independent" life, the shadow of the imperialistic mind-set, which has been pervasiv...

Historically in the 20th century India has hardly had aggressive leaders

Historically in the 20th century India has hardly had aggressive leaders. We had many passive leaders like Gandhi and Nehru but one canot think of anybody other than Subhash Chandra Bose as an aggressive leader. After seven decades Narendra Modi is the new breed of an aggressive leader needed by India. Modi is akin to the great German chancellor Otto Von Bismarck who gave the policy of "blood and iron." Modi in 7 years has done more than what the Congress did in a hundred years. I Call upon people to have a discussion on the value of Narendra Modi as an aggressive leader of India. The contribution of Modi to the unity of India is endless and need not be recounted here. Among them the abolition of Triple Talaq, Article 370 and 35a and a forceful exposition of India abroad. This is not to say that there have been no failures. GST and devaluation and emphasis on cow slaughter is among them, but he gave a new muscle to India as was seen at Doklam HE KNOWS HOW TO BUILD EQUATIONS...

Through-out our brief history the United States government has either subconsciously

Through-out our brief history the United States government has either subconsciously or not perpetuated a level imbalances within our society. The consequences are profound. The inequality, the racial divides, and the level of corruption that has seeped into the very framework of our Democratic process have all succeeded in rendering our society almost incapable of bridging the enormous gaps of inequality in our nation today. In fact any attempt to rectify the crisis we face has always created yet another crisis. A never ending cycle of preexisting conditions have always precluded governments attempts to resolve the crisis that our government helped create in the first place. In the end we can see that government is really now incapable in bringing harmony and balance into our society. History tells of the horrific struggles for racial equality and justice right here in the United States. In all of American history no other period has had such a detrimental affect on American lif...
